MacLife Review - Journeys of Invention
Ever wanted to visit the amazing Science Museum in London but either didn't have the time or lived in the wrong part of the planet? Well now you can explore and manipulate 81 objects that are either on display there or in its repository, thanks to Journeys of Invention, a new iPad app from TouchPress. Read more about it by reading my review in MacLife.

Front Page News
It's not every day you make the front page of the country's only national newspaper!
This story covers what happened to my family when we had the misfortune of putting our kids in the local, and oh so beautiful on the outside, Titirangi Rudolf Steiner school.

Konini's Enviro Maze
Schools in New Zealand haven't got a good reputation - mostly due to the fact that bullying is not properly dealt with. Our own experience of four schools in West Auckland definitely bear that out. But then there are jewels shining through, and Konini Primary is one such school with a principal and teachers working hard to make a difference.

In God We Trust ?
I stumbled onto an article in the Huffington Post from June of this year which shockingly stated that according to a poll, 46% of Americans believe in Creationism.
And it's not as clear cut to say "it's ok, as it means 54% believe in evolution", because 32% of those questioned thought some kind of divine influence had a hand in evolution (are these the proponents of Intelligent Design I wonder?).

Nobody Expects the Spanish Inquisition
I've been working on a documentary about bullying in New Zealand schools.
As part of promoting it, I decided to post a few snippets on YouTube to wet our viewers' appetite and also to act as a warning for people thinking of sending their children to private non-integrated schools in that country. You can view some of them here
